For the publisher Die Zeit and their crime magazine Zeit Verbrechen, I created illustrations for an article about so-called "Gaunerzinken." Gaunerzinken are secret codes used by burglars, which they mark on house walls to communicate with each other. These symbols convey information such as "Wealthy people live here" or "Beware of a vicious dog." To depict the symbols, I used typical tools associated with burglars and set them against a moody sky. The article was published in October 2024.
